KEYBOARDIST/BACKING VOCALIST WANTED FOR SOUL CENTRAL! Our now keyboardist Lyndon is leaving us soon as he is going to university and has commitments in that respect, so, the time has come to look for his replacement. It has been a total pleasure working with him and it is sad to see him go! We are now looking for a new member between 19 – 35yrs (although this isn't set in stone, it depends on musical ability and if the person fits in) to play keys and sing backing vocals. The musicians in soul central work under a band leader/owner so please, if this is an issue do not apply as we have had issues in the past with musicians coming from originals bands or being “stuck in their ways”. We are looking for a musician with a very good knowledge of funk, soul, blues and rock (not metal). The musician must have their own transport, be at a high level of musicianship with a high knowledge of chordal harmony and soloing. Must have good equipment too! Also, at Soul Central we look for the musician to tick three boxes. .. AVAILABILITY, DEDICATION & ENTHUSIASM. If you are in 3 other bands, please don’t apply or if your availability is sketchy...The same. All of the guys in Soul Central work hard and we would expect the same. We have a diary full of gigs, a mix of weddings, pubs, clubs and festivals as well as the odd charity events. The musician joining has until 18th April to be gig ready.
